SAUGET, Ill. - Due to lingering heavy rain in the area, Webster University officials have once again had to push back the start time for Friday's games in the NCAA Division III Central Regional Baseball Tournament being played here at GCS Credit Union Ballpark.

Friday's schedule originally featured four games beginning at 10 a.m. with No. 5 seed Franklin (Ind.) meeting No. 8 seed Thomas More kicking off the day in the first of two elimination round games. The originally scheduled 10 a.m. game that was then pushed back to 1:15 p.m, is now scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday. By moving Friday's first game to 4:30 p.m., there will now just be two games played on Friday, which are both of the elimination round games, as the winner's bracket games will both be played on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.  

With the new adjusted schedule, the tournament will have four games tomorrow and three games on Sunday, May 20 and the championship game is scheduled for 12 p.m. on Monday, May 21, with an if necessary game, to follow at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

Barring any more weather, the tournament games will all be played at GCS Credit Union Ballpark. The champion from the Central Regional advances to the Division III World Series, which is scheduled to begin May 25 and run through May 30 at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadum in Appleton, Wis.
