Beussink, a senior out of Jackson, Missouri, had a huge game for the Gorloks in an 84-72 win over the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy last week. She finished with a season high 27 points and added a game high 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. She went 8-for-11 from the floor in the contest while knocking down all 11 free throws she attempted. She also added a block and dished out three assists. She currently leads the team, and ranks third in the conference, in both points per game (15.4) and rebounds per game (8.3) while ranking fourth in the SLIAC in field goal percentage (52.2%). This is her second SLIAC Player of the Week award this season and the seventh of her career.
