Webster University is a member of the Missouri Beta Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma (XAΣ). The National College Athletic Honor Society recognizes student-athletes from accredited four-year NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA, and USCAA institutions who excel in both the classroom and competition.

This academic fraternity gives us another opportunity to celebrate the success of our student athletes in the classroom, as well as, in their sports." Chi Alpha Sigma, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis. His goal was to provide outstanding student-athletes with an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.
In order to be inducted, student-athletes must have achieved at least a junior academic standing after their fourth full-time semester, transfers must be at a junior level and serve one year in residence at their current institution, must have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and be of good moral character. They must be a varsity level student-athlete.
