Vanessa Jones has had a great start to the indoor track and field season thus far. She has been named the SLIAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week in each of the last two weeks and broke the school record in the indoor 60-meter hurdles at the Ichabod Invitational. At the Ichabod Invitational, Jones ran the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries in a school record time of 9.33 seconds and followed that up with a time of 9.34 seconds in the finals to place 8th.
