Andrew Belsky enters his 17th season as the Head Coach of the Webster University Men’s Golf Team in 2020-21. Belsky is a 2004 graduate of Webster University with a double major in History and Business Management, and a 2006 graduate of Webster with a Master of Business Administration.
In his 16 seasons, he has coached 1 First Team All American (Will Hocker - 2019-20), 6 SLIAC Player’s of the Year, 9 SLIAC Newcomer’s of the Year, 8 SLIAC Tournament Championship teams, 51 SLIAC All-Conference Selections, 14 All-American Scholars, the 2015 NCAA DIII Academic National Champions, and led the team to 7 NCAA Tournament appearances. In the Covid-19 shortened 2019-20 season the team was ranked a program best 19th in the country. Belsky has taken home SLIAC Coach of the Year honors 8 times (2005, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019).
While playing golf at Webster, Belsky was a four-time SLIAC All-Conference selection, an accomplishment which has only been matched by one other Webster golfer to date. Andrew was the first Gorlok player to win a tournament as well as card an under par competitive round, a 70 (-2), at the 2000 Illinois Wesleyan Invitational.
On top of his duties leading the golf team, Belsky serves as Webmaster for websterathletics.com, Executive Director for the Golf Foundation of Missouri, co-advisor for the Webster Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), serves on multiple committees for the Golf Coaches Association of America, is a member of the NCAA Regional Advisory Committee, and is Sunset Country Club's representative to the St. Louis District Golf Association. He is a former PGA Apprentice Professional and a former member of the Webster University Alumni Board of Directors.
Andrew and his wife, Katie, reside in Des Peres, Mo., with their dogs Kodi and Oliver and their newborn son Jack.
