On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the Webster volleyball team defeated Principia College on the road in five sets, 3-2 (25-18, 23-25, 25-16, 17-25, 16-14).  This meeting pitted the top two teams in the SLIAC against one another.  Webster defended their undefeated record in conference play and is now 18-3 overall
with a 14-0 conference mark.

The Gorloks will take on Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill., on Oct. 16 for their next contest.  This contest will be a break from conference games, as Illinois College is not a SLIAC school.  The women will return to conference play at home on Oct. 28 to take on Maryville University.
