Volleyball Improves to 10-0 in SLIAC Play

Webster University volleyball won both of their contests on Oct. 4, but lost their third set of the season in the process.  Webster beat Maryville University 3-0 in the morning and came back in the afternoon to defeat Greenville College 3-1.  The wins give the Gorloks a season record of 14-3 and a SLIAC conference record of 10-0.  The loss in the Greenville match is only the third set Webster has lost this season in conference play.

The Gorloks have been on a tear all season.  This year the team has won a total of 42 sets and only lost 15.  Principia sits in second place in the SLIAC and although Principia has played more games, they have won 44 but lost 24.

Webster will hit the floor again on Oct. 7, where they will take on Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL.  The Gorloks currently sit atop the SLIAC, followed by Principia College in second, and Maryville University in third.
