After Shaky Start, Gorloks Rally Past Fontbonne

The Webster University volleyball team passed a tough test in their match against Fontbonne on Tuesday night.  After losing a close first set to the Griffins 28-26, the Gorloks were able to turn the momentum around and win the next three consecutive sets to take the match.

The win brings the Gorloks' season record to 5 -2.  Tuesday night's game was the first game of Webster's conference schedule and the Gorloks are now 1-0 in SLIAC play.

Webster will play Fontbonne again on September 13.  The game will be held at 11 a.m. at Fontbonne.  This game is the front end of a double header for the women, with the other game against another SLIAC opponent, Westminster College, at 1:30 p.m.  Admission is free of charge.
