In Grant Gymnasium on September 30, the Webster University volleyball team swept the Westminster Blue Jays, 3-0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-17).  It was the second victory over Westminster this season for the Gorloks. 

The team was led by team captain senior Erin Grobe and junior Jackie Schall. Schall finished the night with 10 kills and Grobe added five. “We struggled at the start of each set, but got stronger as the game went on,” said head coach Merry Graf.  Webster wrapped each set with both aggressive and tenacious plays. 

Webster University continues their season on October 2 at Grant Gymnasium as they host the defending national champion Washington University Bears at 7 p.m.
