The women's volleyball team ran its winning streak to 32 games in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a 3-0 win at MacMurray College, in Jacksonville, IL, on October 13.  Webster University leads the SLIAC volleyball standings with a 10-0 record.

The Gorloks won 25-22, 25-20, 25-12, as senior Jackie Schall (Oakville HS, STL) led the team with eight kills and also had three service aces.

The victory came on the heels of senior Abby Williams (Incarnate Word Academy, STL) being named the SLIAC Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 5-12.  Williams is the first volleyball Gorlok honored in 2009.

It's back to the road for Webster as they head to Fulton, MO, on October 17, for SLIAC contests with host Westminster College and Blackburn College.
