The women's volleyball team added two more notches to its St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 'belt,' with wins over host Westminster College and Blackburn College (IL) on October 17 in Fulton, MO.  The victories extend the Gorloks winning streak to 32 straight matches in SLIAC play.

Webster is 12-0 in the SLIAC and in first place.  They have four more conference matches remaining on the 2009 schedule, all at home.

The Gorloks defeated Westminster 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-21) and Blackburn College 3-0 (25-11, 25-10, 25-18).  Senior Abby Williams (Incarnate Word Academy, STL) led with 11 kills versus Blackburn and senior Jackie Schall (Oakville HS, STL) had nine.

The team will head to Ohio to participate in the Heidelberg College Quad on October 23-24.  The Gorloks will face Carthage College (IL), Wittenburg University (OH) and host Heidelberg.
