The Webster University women's volleyball won its fourth straight St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match with 3-0 wins over Principia College (IL) and Blackburn College (IL) at Grant Gymnasium on October 16.  

With the victories, the Gorloks improved to 9-2 in the SLIAC and kept their hopes alive for a fourth straight conference title.  Webster downed Principia in the first match of the day, 26-24, 25-19, 25-22.  The Panthers, still in contention for a playoff spot in the SLIAC, beat Blackburn 3-0 in the second match.  In the day's finale, Webster defeated Blackburn 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

The Gorloks evened their season record at 13-13.  They play their next three matches on the road, starting with Spalding University (KY) on October 20, before taking on MacMurray College (IL) and Fontbonne University on October 23 at Principia College in Elsah, IL.
