The Webster University women's volleyball team lost 3-0 at Spalding University on October 20, in Louisville, KY. The Golden Eagles were too tough for the Gorloks as they won 25-20, 25-19, and 25-19. Webster fell to 9-3 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Gorloks take on MacMurray College (IL) and Fontbonne University on October 23 at Principia College (IL). Webster returns home on October 26 for a showdown with Greenville College (IL), who sits in 2nd place in the SLIAC, just ahead of the Gorloks. Webster also host the #1 ranked, nationally in the NCAA III, Washington University Bears.
In addition to a great evening of volleyball on the 26th, there will be a 'Trunk of Treat' for the kids, and it is 'Dig Pink' night at Grant Gymnasium as well. The 'Trunk or Treat' will take place in the University Center lot outside the gym at 6 pm and kids are encouraged to attend in costume for free candy and fun. The "Dig Pink' activities will help to raise funds to be donated to breast cancer research.
