Men's Soccer Not Spooked By Devils, Win 8-1

The Webster University men's soccer team ended the regular season on a high note with an 8-1 win at Eureka College (IL).  Bryce Johnson (SR, Basha HS, AZ), fresh off being named St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, Adam Ullo (JR, Oakville HS), and Clint Carder (SO, DeSoto HS, MO), all netted two goals for the Gorloks.

Carder upped his SLIAC-leading goal total to 15 on the season.  Dominic DeVasto (JR, St. John Vianney HS), and Agustin Villalba (SO, American School, Ecuador) completed the scoring with one goal each.  Alex Cupp (JR, Lutheran South HS) raised his record to 9-5-3 with the decision in goal.

The Gorloks finished the regular season 5-2-1 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and 10-5-3 overall.  Webster will travel to Greenville College (IL) to take on the Panthers on November 4 in the first round of the SLIAC post-season tournament.  The start time has been set for 3:00 p.m., but may  be moved up to 2:00 p.m.  Please consult the men's soccer schedule at websterathletics.com, for any changes.
