The Webster University women's volleyball team finished up the Washington University Tournament with another split, defeating Westminster College, 3-1, and losing to the host Bears, 3-0, on October 9.  The Gorloks faced a very competitive NCAA III field in the tournament and closed with a 2-2 record.

The Gorloks faced a familiar foe, St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Westminster, and won 25-20, 25-13, 23-25, and 25-15 in the day's first match.  In a rematch of its first round match in the 2009 NCAA III Tournament, Webster had a much tougher go against Washington University.  The Gorloks lost to the Bears, who are ranked #1 nationally, 25-18, 25-14, and 25-16.

Webster starts a three-game SLIAC homestand on October 12 vs. Eureka College (IL), and on October 16 vs. Principia College (IL) and Blackburn College (IL).  Webster is 6-2 in the SLIAC, and 10-13 overall.
