Former Webster University athletes, Melissa Zwilling ('03) and Jerry Vogt ('04), were selected to enter the Bishop DuBourg High School Hall of Fame, Class of 2010. Vogt and Zwilling were inducted in a ceremony at the Floyd Hacker Gymnasium at Bishop DuBourg on March 20, 2010.
Zwilling was a four-year member of the Webster University volleyball team from 1999-2002. In her career, she was chosen as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball Newcomer of the Year in 1999. Zwilling was also a SLIAC 1st Team, All-Conference selection for four straight years. She still ranks high on Gorlok volleyall career lists; second in kills, fourth in digs, and fifth in games played. She was a standout player for current head volleyball coach, Merry Graf, in her first two seasons at the helm in 2001-2002.
Vogt was a four-year member of the Webster University men's basketball team from 2000-2004. In his sophomore year, the Gorloks won the SLIAC title under coach Dave Kaneshiro. When current head coach, Chris Bunch, was hired following Kaneshiro's departure in 2002, Vogt became one of Bunch's mainstays his first two seasons. Vogt is still eighth on the men's basketball career list for rebounds.
