The Webster University women's volleyball team began its quest for a fifth straight trip to the NCAA III Tournament in 2010, by defeating the St. Louis College of Pharmacy 3-0 on September 1 at Grant Gymnasium.  The Gorloks, reloading after the loss of four starters to graduation, didn't miss a beat in sweeping the Eutectics, 25-13, 25-16, 25-9.

Sporting the largest roster in the program's history, with 22, the women's volleyball team has 10 new players this season.  The Gorloks were able to utilize a variety of players in the match against the College of Pharmacy.

The Gorloks are back home on September 3, hosting Simpson College (IA) and Illinois College for a tri-match.  After a match at home on September 8 vs. McKendree University, Webster has an extended schedule of road matches, playing 14 straight opponents away.
