The women's volleyball team extended its winning streak in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to 41 matches as Webster University downed Eureka College (IL) and Westminster College on September 18.  The Gorloks defeated host Eureka, 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-12), and Westminster, 3-1 (25-13, 13-25, 25-22, 25-17).

Senior Mary Jo Schweitzer (Parkway Central HS, STL), coming back from a knee injury in the 2009 NCAA Tournament that ended her season, had 13 kills against Westminster.  Gretchen Rieger (Lincoln CC, IL) chipped in with nine kills.  Against Eureka, Rieger led the Gorloks with seven kills. 

Webster's conference win streak began in the 2007 season, and continued as the Gorloks were undefeated in the SLIAC in 2008 and 2009.  Webster is 3-0 in the SLIAC and 5-7 overall on the season.  The Gorloks travel to Carlinville, IL, on September 21 to take on Blackburn College.
