The women's soccer team's stingy defense struck again as Webster University defeated Rose-Hulman Institute, 3-0, at AB Soccer Park on September 18.  The Gorloks have recorded shutouts in all three victories on the season, and have allowed only four goals in six games.  Junior Brittany Senator (Quincy HS, IL) and Maria Arias (SO, Lincoln HS, Costa Rica) shared the shutout for Webster.

Arias took over in goal after Senator was injured in a collision at the 15:00 mark of the first half.  Webster's lone goal came on an Amanda Zeier (JR, McCluer HS, STL) goal at the 72:23 mark in the second half.  Zeier scored right in front of the net off a chip in by Katie Aubuchon (FR, Affton HS, STL).

Webster is 3-3 on the season and will travel to Decatur, IL, on September 22 to face Millikin University.  The Gorloks are back at home on September 25 against Carroll University (WI).
