Gorloks Blast Blue Jays, 5-0

On a night when seven seniors played their final regular season game at the Soccer Park, the Webster women's soccer team saw a little of the past, the present, and the future in a 5-0 win over Westminser College on October 25.  Amanda Zeier (SR, McCluer HS) scored the 18th and 19th goals of her career, while freshman Kristin Montgomery (Duchesne HS) scored the eighth goal of her inaugural season.

In goal, senior Brittany Senator (Quincy HS, IL) notched her 16th win for her career by allowing no goals in the first half.  She split time with freshman Jessica Davis (Belleville West HS, IL) who added another shutout half in the nets to lower her GAA to 0.28 on the season.  Sophomores Katie Aubuchon (Affton HS) and Ally Nikolaus (St. Joseph's Academy) represented the present by scoring Webster's other two goals in the contest.  For Nikolaus, it was her seventh in her first season for the Gorloks, and Aubuchon's was her third.

Other seniors honored before the game included, Candice Evans (DeSoto HS), Jordan Geller (O'Fallon HS, IL), Morgan Milfeld (DeSoto HS), Lindsey Owens (St. Dominic's HS), and Izzy Sherfy (Pattonville HS).  All seven senior received one of their Webster game jerseys framed.

Webster improved to 6-1 in the SLIAC and 11-5-1 overall.  The Gorloks travel to Blackburn College (IL) on October 29 to conclude the regular season and then look forward to the SLIAC post-season tournament.  Webster has clinched a home game for the first round and will play an opponent TBD on November 3 at the Soccer Park.
