The Webster University women's soccer team beat Fontbonne University, 3-0, in a non-league contest on September 7 at Gay Field in Clayton, MO.  Shelby Wade (SR, Francis Howell HS) and Jessica Davis (FR, Belleville West HS, IL) shared the shutout in goal.

The Gorloks controlled play throughout the first half and finally broke through on the scoreboard at the 6:00 minute mark as Katie Aubuchon (SO, Affton HS) made it 1-0 with her first goal of the season.  One minute later, Amanda Zeier (SR, McCluer HS) made it 2-0 with her second goal of the year, tying her with Morgan Milfeld (SR, DeSoto HS, MO) for the team lead.

Alexandra Nikolaus (SO, St. Joseph's Academy) finished the scoring with her first goal as a Gorlok, heading in a crossing pass by Lauren Scalise (FR, York HS, IL), at 35:50 of the second half.  Wade picked up the win in goal.

The Gorloks improved to 2-1.  They travel to Monmouth College (IL) on September 11 and to Terre Haute, IN, to take on Rose-Hulman Institute (IN) on September 14.
