Webster Unbeaten in SLIAC With Win at Eureka

Box Score The Webster University women's soccer team remained unbeaten in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 7-0 win at Eureka College (IL) on October 13.  Ashley Mess (FR, Northwest HS, MO) led the Gorloks with two goals and Jessica Davis (SO, Belleville West HS, IL) recorded her ninth shutout minding the nets.

Mess scored her second and third goals for the season.  Lauren Pratt (FR, Incarnate Word Academy, MO) scored her team-leading 10th goal of the year.  Kristin Montgomery (SO, Duchesne HS, MO) and  Ally Nikolaus (JR, St. Joseph's Academy, MO) each netted their ninth goals.

Briana Small (FR, Lake Park HS, IL) scored her fourth goal and Kelsey Tsukayama (JR, Ft. Zumwalt South HS, MO) scored her second to complete the Gorlok scoring.

With the shutout, Davis is now tied for fourth on the Webster single season record list for shutouts in a season.  Davis' goals against average for the year fell to 0.60.

The Gorloks, ranked 9th in the Central Regiona, are 4-0 in the SLIAC and 11-4 overall.  Webster will be back home on October 17 to face MacMurray College (IL) at the Soccer Park.
