Once again, the Webster University women's volleyball team is helping in the fight against breast cancer by holding a 'Dig Pink Night' on October 3 at Grant Gymnasium. Donations raised from activities during that evening's match vs. Washington University will go toward breast cancer research. You can help the Gorloks reach their fundraising goal at the game or now!
The Webster volleyball team, in cooperation with The Side Out Foundation, has a dedicated website to allow you to make a donation towards the team's 2012 goal. You can donate by clicking
here.
Adding to the excitement of the evening is the Gorloks are riding a five-game win streak as they take on the Bears, who are ranked #1 nationally in the NCAA III. Admission to the volleyball match will be free, but donations will be accepted at the door. Activities will include games for fan participation and a 50/50 raffle. Concessions and pink ribbons will be available for purchase as well.
The volleyball team is hoping to see a big crowd come out to support the team on the court, and to help the Gorloks raise $ for a very worthy cause...the fight against breast cancer.
