Box Score The Webster University women's soccer team lost to Carroll University (WI), 1-0, at the Soccer Park, on October 7.  A Pioneer goal at the 58 minute mark in the second half was the only score in the contest.

The Carroll goal came on a header off a corner kick.  Gorlok goalkeeper Jessica Davis faced 14 shots and had nine saves in the game, allowing just the lone goal.  Carroll held a 14-4 shot advantage in the game.

In what turned out to be a fairly physical game, both teams combined for 27 fouls called.  The game was marred by an injury to starter Katie Aubuchon (JR, Affton HS, MO), who suffered a leg injury with seven minutes remaining in the contest.

Webster is 9-4 on the season.  After taking a break for the non-conference tilt, the Gorloks now close out the regular season with the remainder of their SLIAC schedule, starting with a game at Westminster College on October 9.
