The Webster University volleyball team swept a pair of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matches as it hosted a quad on September 22 at Grant Gymnasium.  The Gorloks downed Fontbonne University, 3-0, and Westminster College, 3-0.  Webster improves to 5-1 in the SLIAC with the victories.

In the first match, Webster overpowered the Griffins, 25-20, 25-20, 25-3.  The match vs. Westminster proved much more challenging as the Gorloks beat the Blue Jays, 25-14, 25-20, 25-20.  The wins allowed Webster to hold on to at least a share of second place in the SLIAC, pending results from other conference matches.

Principia College (IL) also participated in the quad, facing Fontbonne and Westminster also.  The Gorloks host MacMurray College (IL) on September 25 and travels to Jacksonville, IL, to face Illinois College on September 27.
