Winning its 12th straight set in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play, the Webster University volleyball team defeated MacMurray College (IL), 3-0, on September 25 at Grant Gymnasium.  It is the fourth straight match the Gorloks have swept in SLIAC play and they improve to 6-1 in the conference..
 
The Gorloks had their toughest set with the Highlanders in the first, winning 25-17.  But Webster cruised the final two sets, winning 25-12 and 25-14.

With the win, Webster is 39-2 all-time vs MacMurray and currently is on a 30-match winning streak, dating back to the Highlanders defeating the Gorloks, 3-1. on September 10, 1996. 
 
Webster hits the road for its next match, on September 27, in Jacksonville, IL, vs. Illinois College.  The Gorloks return home on October 3 to face Washington University.
