Box Score The Webster University volleyball team picked up a road win as the Gorloks defeated Illinois College, 3-0, in Jacksonville, IL, on September 27.  The Gorloks played a solid match with 42 kills and only one service error as they won in straight sets, 25-14, 25-15, 25-20.

Webster had standout performances from several players.  Jordan Vehlewald (SO, Lafayette HS, MO) had nine kills and a .750 attack percentage for the contest and 17 digs.  Liz Abraham (JR, Hermann HS, MO) led Webster with 19 digs, and Jenny Howard (SO, Duchesne HS, MO) had 10 kills to lead the Gorloks.  Sami Murray (SR, Columbia HS, IL) was perfect on 24 service attempts.

The Gorloks are back home October 3 to host the Washington University Bears, ranked #1 nationally in the NCAA III.  They hit the road again on October 5 to take on Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
