Box Score With its first good night's sleep on this Texas visit, Webster University's volleyball squad beat University of Redlands (Calif.), 3-1 (26-24, 20-25, 25-19, 25-21) in the Trinity Fall Classic. Webster picked up its 20th win of the season against six losses.

The Gorloks benefited from standout defense, recording a season-high 99 digs. That is the 12th highest total in school history in any match. Webster's previous season best was 97 digs versus Augustana Oct. 11.

Freshman Katie O'Toole (St. Louis, MO / Lutheran South) had 42 digs, just shy of her own school record set last week. O'Toole had 50 digs in the Augustana match Oct. 11. Her 42 digs is the third-best in school history in any match.

Junior Jordan Vehlewald (Wildwood, MO / Lafayette) contributed a season-high 23 digs. Her previous best this season was 18 against Iowa Wesleyan Sept. 11.

This is the first time this season that two Gorloks have amassed 20 or more digs in the same match. Junior Megan Morrison (St. Louis, MO / Lutheran South) added 16 digs.

Webster's front court defense registered 18 assisted blocks and 14 total blocks (solos plus half of assisted). Those were the second- and third-highest outputs, respectively, in a match this season.

Junior Sam Kersting (St. Louis, MO / Lindbergh) registered nine blocks, her second-highest total of the season. She had 11 against Rose-Hulman Sept. 7. On offense, Kersting tallied a team-high 14 kills.

Junior Emily Ratkewicz (Granite City, IL / Granite City) had a season-high 10 kills. She had four prior matches this season with eight or more kills.

Junior Allie O'Toole (St. Louis, MO / Lutheran South) was credited with 18 assists.
