Box Score Webster University's women's soccer team was beaten by the No. 3 ranked team in the nation, Washington University (Mo.), 3-0, Wednesday (Sept. 25).
 
Junior midfielder Lindsey Adshade (Chicago, IL / DeKalb) nearly put the Gorloks on top in the second minute, but her attempt hit the goal post.
 
Junior goalkeeper Jessica Davis (Belleville, IL / Belleville West) made five saves for the Gorloks.
 
With the loss, Webster fell to 8-2 on the season.
 
Next up for Webster is its St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener, which is against Eureka (Ill.). Kickoff for that game is 3 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 28) at St. Louis Soccer Park.
