Women's Soccer Honors Seven Senors

Box Score Prior to the team's 3-0 win over Blackburn College on October 25, the Webster University women's soccer team honored its seven senior members in a pre-game ceremony at the Soccer Park.  Included in that group were five players who played their entire collegiate career at Webster.

The players were honored for their dedication, perseverance, and team work they have shown, and the fine manner in which they have represented Webster Athletics and the University during their time with the program.  The seven players honored were:
 
Lindsey Adshade   Lindsey was accompanied by her mother, Lisa Luker.  A graduate of DeKalb HS in Illinois, Lindsey played two seasons for the Gorloks after transferring from Bowling Green State University.  Lindsey has played in 38 games in her two seasons for the Gorloks, starting 37 of them.  She has three goals and 22 assists in her career at Webster, for 28 points.  She was named to the SLIAC All-Conference Second Team in 2013. 
 
Freddie Brandt    Freddie was accompanied by her mother, Karen Schmitendorf.  Freddie graduated from Davis HS in California and played two seasons for the Gorloks after transferring from Cabrillo College in California.  Freddie has played in 35 games for the Gorloks, starting 19 of them.  She has two goals and six assists for her career, and was named to the SLIAC All-Conference Second Team in 2012. 
 
Jessica Davis   Jessica was accompanied by her parents, Linda and Daniel Davis.  Jessica, a graduate of Belleville West HS in Illinois, was a four-year player for the Gorloks, playing 65 games in goal so far, and starting 52 of them.  Jessica has a career 40-13-3 record in goal and is Webster's all-time leader in wins and in shutouts (28).  Her career goals against average of 0.65 is second on Webster's all-time list.   She also holds the record for most wins in a season (17) for the Gorloks as well.  Jessica was the SLIAC Newcomer of the Year in 2011, and was SLIAC First Team All-Conference in 2012 and 2013.  She has been named SLIAC Player of the Week five different times, and was named  to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2012.  Jessica also has been SLIAC All-Academic in 2012 & 2013. 
 
Kristin Montgomery   Kristin was accompanied by her parents, Pam and Bob Montgomery.  Kristin is a graduate of Duchesne HS in St. Louis and was a four-year player for the Gorloks.  Kristin has played in 76 games for Webster, starting 69 of them.  A prolific scorer for Webster, she has 37 goals and 22 assists, for 96 points in her career.  She ranks eighth on Webster's all-time list in goals and points, and seventh in goals per game.  Kristin was named to the SLIAC First Team All-Conference in 2013, Second Team in 2012, and Honorable Mention in 2011.  She was SLIAC Player of the Week in 2012 and 2013, and was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2013.
 
Michelle Scally   Michelle was accompanied by her parents, Kristine and Tim Scally.  Michelle is a graduate of Rosati-Kain High School in St. Louis and was a four-year player for the Gorloks.  In her career, she has appeared in 62 games for Webster and has two goals and five assists for nine points.  The 22 games she appeared in 2013 ties her for the Webster all-time single season high for games played in.

Amy Schield   Amy was accompanied by her parents, Lynn and Randy Schield.  Amy graduated from Belleville West HS in Illinois and was a four-year player for the Gorloks.  She has played in 72 games at Webster, starting 65 of them.  For her career, Amy has five goals and 11 assists for 21 points.  She was named to the SLIAC All-Conference First Team in 2012 and the Second Team in 2013.  Amy has been named SLIAC Player of the Week in 2014, 2013, and in 2012.
 
Whitney Scott   Whitney was accompanied by her parents, Michelle and Lowell Scott.  Whitney is a graduate of Holy Cross HS in Kentucky and was a four-year player for the Gorloks.  She has played in 77 games and started 74 for Webster in her career.  Whitney has seven goals and 10 assists, for 24 points as a Gorlok.  She was named SLIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2013 and 2011.  Whitney was named to the SLIAC All-Tournament Team in 2012 and to the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team in 2011.
