The Webster University women's and men's soccer teams will host first round games in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference on November 5 and November 6, at the Soccer Park.  Both teams gained hosting privileges with their first place finishes in the SLIAC, and will host the championship games as well if they advance.

The women's soccer team will play Westminster College at 6:00 p.m. on November 5.  The Gorloks were 9-0 in the SLIAC for a second straight season, winning or sharing first place in the conference for a third straight season.  Webster tied for first in 2012, and won the title outright in 2013 and 2014 with its undefeated finishes.  The Gorloks ended SLIAC play in 2014 with a 19-game conference win streak, extending back to the 2012 season.  Webster crawled into teams receiving 'other votes' in this week's D3 Soccer 'Top 25' and were ranked 10th in the most recent Central Region rankings.

Webster beat Westminster, 3-1, on October 22, in Fulton, MO.  The Blue Jays were the only SLIAC team to score on the Gorloks, with Webster outscoring its SLIAC opponents, 51-1, on the season.  The other women's semi-final will be #3 seed Principia College (IL) playing at #2 seed Fontbonne University, with the winner advancing to play the Webster/Westminster victor on November 7.

The men's soccer team will host Fontbonne at 7:00 p.m. on November 6.  The Gorloks defeated the Griffins, 1-0, on November 1, to wrap up an unbeaten conference season at 8-0-1.  Webster is 10-8-2 overall.  Webster became the first SLIAC men's soccer team to win or share a conference title for three straight seasons.  The Gorloks won outright in 2012, and tied for first in 2013 before finishing alone at the top this season.

#3 seed Spalding University (KY) will play at #2 seed Westminster in the other SLIAC men's semi-final, with the winner advancing to take on the Webster/Fontbonne winner in the championship on November 8.

Webster University students with a Webster I.D. will be admitted FREE.  Ticket costs are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (ages 5-16) and students with other SLIAC institutional IDs.  Fans under age 5 are admitted free.

The Soccer Park is located at I-44 and Soccer Park Road.  Take I-44 west to first exit past I-270, Soccer Park Rd.  Stay right, go right onto service road behind the Road Ranger Truck Stop.  Park entrance is 500 feet up on the left.
