Kristen Farrah (St. Charles, Mo./Francis Howell) recorded 17 digs here Saturday morning to set a new single season school record for digs en route to helping the Gorloks to a three-set sweep over Fontbonne University (25-17, 25-14, 25-22) in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action at the Dunham Student Activities Center.
Farrah's 17 digs helped her eclipse Webster's old single season dig mark of 659 set by Katie O'Toole in 2016 as Farrah has now recorded 661 digs this season as the NCAA Division III leader in digs per set is now averaging 8.47 digs per set this season and has recorded double-digit digs in all 22 matches this season for the Gorloks.
With the sweep over Fontbonne, Webster extended its win streak to 12 consecutive matches and improves its record to 16-7 overall and 14-2 in the SLIAC, while Fontbonne had its three-match win streak snapped as they fell to 8-13 overall and 7-8 in the league.
In Saturday's win at the Fontbonne Quadrangle, Webster, who has now won 36 consecutive sets, recorded 47 kills and hit .314 in sweeping the season series from the Griffins. For the match, four Gorloks recorded seven or more kills, including senior right side hitter
Torie Grassi (St. Louis, Mo./Rosati-Kain) finishing with 11 kills and hitting .435, while sophomore outside hitter
Samantha Kruse (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) had 10 kills and 14 digs for her eighth double-double of the season and hit .381.
Along with Grassi and Kruse's 11 and 10 kills, junior right side hitter
Sarah Jacobs (Carbondale, Ill./Murphysboro) added nine kills and hit .389 and senior outside hitter
Samantha Budrovich (St. Louis, Mo./Lutheran South) had seven kills in the win.

Kelsey Hamann (Waterloo, Ill./Waterloo) also posted a double-double as she recorded 21 assists and had 10 digs for team leading 11th double-double, while junior setter
Jenna Rodriguez (Smithton, Ill./Freeburg) contributed 16 assists and seven digs in the victory.
In the opening set, Fontbonne jumped out to a 4-1 lead and led 8-6 when the Gorloks used an 8-4 run to take a 14-12 lead. After Fontbonne scored two of the next three points to pull within 15-14, WU used a 5-2 run to push in front 20-16. Maura Rabun stopped WU's run with a kill to bring the Griffins within three at 20-17, before the Gorloks closed the set by scoring the final five points to seal WU's 25-17 win. In the set, WU hit .235 and Fontbonne hit .050.
The teams took turns holding early on in the second set, before WU used 12-5 run to turn a 5-all tie into a 17-10 lead. After Fontbonne's Kristina Eason put down a kill to pull the Griffins within 17-11, the Gorloks closed out the set by scoring eight of the set's final 11 points to seal WU's 25-14 set win. In the set, Webster hit .469 as they they had 19 kills, including four kills each from Kruse and Grassi, while Fontbonne hit .269.
In the third set, Fontbonne led 3-2 early on, before WU used a 9-4 run to take an 11-7 lead. The Gorloks run was capped by back-to-back kills from Jacobs and Grassi. The Griffins, though, answered with a 7-6 run to pull within 17-14. WU responded with a 6-3 run to push out to a 23-17 advantage. Fontbone wouldn't go away as they scored five fo the next six points to drop WU's lead to 24-22. That would be as close as the Griffins would get as an attack error by Eason sealed WU's 25-22 set win and match sweep. In the set, Webster hit .256 as they had 15 kills, including four each from Grassi, Kruse and Jacobs, while the Griffins hit .130.
Rabun paced Fontbonne's offense with seven kills, while Victoria Curtice and Eason each had six kills in the loss. Megan Schaller added 11 digs for the Griffins.
For the match, Fontbonne hit .134 and had 32 kills against the Gorloks.
Webster outblocked Fontbonne, 7-3, including freshman middle hitter
Kylie Burke (Belleville, Ill./Belleville West) recording four blocks, while Jacobs and junior middle hitter
Taylor Kissel (St. Louis, Mo./Lutheran South) each had three blocks.
Webster concluded play in the Fontbonne Quadrangle on Saturday afternoon with a 1 p.m. match against Spalding.
