ANGOLA, Ind. - Webster University closed out the regular season portion of its non-conference men's soccer schedule here Saturday by using a goal late in double overtime from sophomore forward
Aamahn Murvin (Sahurita, Ariz./Walden Grove) to post a 1-0 shutout win over Trine University at Zollner Stadium on the Trine University campus.
With the win, Webster improves to 6-2-1, while Trine falls to 3-4-0 on the season.

Cameron Killian (St. Louis, Mo./Lindbergh), came with a little more than two minutes left in the double overtime session. The match marked the second straight double overtime contest this season for the Gorloks and the third double overtime match of the season.
In Saturday's match, Webster held a 15-11 edge in shots, including a 7-3 advantage in shots on goal to earn its third straight road win since falling 1-0 at Hendrix on Sept. 8.
Murvin took seven of WU's 15 shots and put four of those seven shots on goal, including taking two of the Gorloks three shots after regulation.
In the first overtime session, Murvin had a scoring chance in the 97th minute, but his shot was saved by Trine goalkeeper Taylor Medina and with eight seconds left in the first overtime period, senior defender
Justin Schmidt (St. Louis, Mo./Metro) had a shot blocked to force a second overtime.
The Thunder had a scoring chance in the 104th minute of the second overtime, but shot from Connor Malmquist was wide of the goal.
In addition to Murvin's seven shots and four shots on goal, Schmidt took three shots and put two of those shots on gola in the win. For the match, seven different Gorloks recorded a shot on the day.
Nooh Aljabaly paced Trine with four shots, while Brian Morris, Trevor Towghi and Malmquist each had two shots in the loss.
Murvin's goal made a winnner out of sophomore goalkeeper
Matt Coffey (Eureka, Mo./Eureka), who played all 107-plus minutes and recorded three saves to improve to 3-0-1 on the year. The shutout was the first of the season for Coffey and third of the season for the Gorloks.
Medina (3-4-0) took the loss in goal for the Thunder as he also played all 107-plus minutes and recorded six saves and allowed just that one goal.
WU held an 11-7 edge on corner kicks in the match.
The match was marred by fouls as the two teams combined for 43 fouls and seven yellow cards, including four yellow cards by the Gorloks. Those four yellow cards was one more than the team had recorded combined in its first eight matches.
Webster will now take a week off before opening St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play next Saturday, Oct. 5 with a 1 p.m. match in Eureka, Ill., against Eureka University. The Eureka match will be the first of nine SLIAC matches this season for the Gorloks.
