WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – This afternoon Danielle Schultz of the women's indoor track and field team traveled to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to compete in the 800 at the 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.

Schultz took 14^th overall in the 800-meter preliminaries after finishing with a school record time of 2:15.69. She beat the record she set last week of 2:16.87 after running splits of 32.82 (200), 33.91 (400), 34.49 (600), and 34.46 (800). Emma Kelley of Washington (Mo.) University took first place in the preliminaries with a time of 2:11.94.

This marks the end of the indoor track and field season for the Gorloks. They will compete in their first outdoor meet on Saturday, March 26^th when travel to Rolla, Missouri, to compete in the Miner Invitational at Missouri S&T.
