LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Webster University golf team was back in action today when they traveled to Lousiville, Kentucky, to compete in the SLIAC Men's Golf Championships at The Polo Grounds Country Club. The Gorloks currently sit in first place out of 11 teams after shooting a 607 (305-302, +31) through the first 36 holes of the tournament. Illinois College sits in second place after shooting a 616 (312-304, +40).

Will Hocker currently leads the field of 54 golfers after shooting a 72 in the first round and 69 in the second round for a two-round score of 141 (-3). Cody Surma is also in the top five as he sits fourth in the field after shooting a 74 in the first round and a 76 in the second rounds for a total of 150 (+6).
