ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Webster University captured its second straight Commissioner's Cup for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, an award that is presented when a school wins both the league's All-Sports Trophy and All-Sportsmanship Trophy. This is the second time in conference history that Webster has received special recognition and just the third time in conference history that any school has won the award. Westminster College won the inaugural Commissioner's Cup back in the 2015-16 academic year.

For the 20th time in program history, Webster University takes home the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's All-Sports Trophy for having the most overall successful athletics program during the academic year. Webster finished with 110.5 total points in 2021-22 to win its fifth consecutive trophy. They also totaled 14.5 points in the Sportsmanship standings; becoming the first program to receive the SLIAC Commissioner's Cup multiple times.

In the All-Sports standings, Webster took home five titles this year; winning Women's Cross Country and Men's Golf Championships as well as finishing first in men's soccer, Women's Basketball, and Baseball. The Gorloks also had six second-place showings and finished with just two of 17 sports finishing outside the top three in the conference. They also picked up 14.5 points in the Sportsmanship standings, receiving votes in seven of the league's 17 conference-sponsored sports. The Gorloks won the Sportsmanship award in Men's Basketball, Men's Outdoor Track and Field, and Men's Tennis, and shared the award in Women's Outdoor Track and Field.

Points for the All-Sports trophy are based on the regular season standings except for cross country, golf, tennis, and track and field which are determined based on the order of finish at the conference championship.
