27 Gorloks Earned Spring SLIAC All-Academic Team Honors

BELLEVILLE, Ill. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) has released the names of the spring sports student-athletes that earned a SLIAC All-Academic honor. In the sports of baseball, men's and women's track and field, and softball, 27 Gorloks earned an All-Academic selection.

In order for a student-athlete that participates in the SLIAC to be eligible for this academic award, the student-athlete must have been at least a sophomore, been at their institution for at least one year, maintained a 3.5 grade-point-average, and competed at the varsity level. 

The Webster University baseball team led the spring sports with 10 honorees which includes Wes Carter, Bauer Dalke, Dalton Groves, Carter Hunt, Noah Jensen, Shane LeJeune-DeAcutis, Charlie Pellicer, James Theodore, Nick Wrubluski, and Andrew Xenakis. 

The Men's track and field team had seven student-athletes that earned this academic award which includes Elijah Bohler, Johnny Imboden, Lucas LaRue, Austin Merritt, Ethan Nieroda, Thomas Ogata, and Dylan Patterson.

The softball team had five honorees which includes Brie Hale, Ainsley Hinz, Aurora Lomheim, Madi Stichling, and Lili Work

The Women's track and field team had three honorees which include Aissata Kamara, Cali Pavlisko, and Grace Rose.

The men's golf team rounded out the academic award with two honorees which include Cole Makgill and Oscar Petitjean.
