2020 SLIAC Spring All-Academic Team

2019-20 (FRESHMAN): In her first year as a Gorlok, she posted a 5-6 record in singles and did not play any doubles matches during the COVID-19 shortened season ... Played both No. 1 and No. 2 singles on the year ... Recorded a 2-5 record at the No. 1 singles spot and was 3-1 at the No. 2 singles spot ... Opened her collegiate career with a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles over Makaela Hampton of Quincy (8/31) ... During the fall season, went 3-2 in singles with all but one of those matches coming at the No. 1 spot ... Her five singles wins were tied for second-most on the team. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in tennis, basketball, cross country and track at West Iron County High School ... In tennis, was a three-time First-Team All-Conference honors and a two-time All-State selection in 2017 and 2018 ... Named Upper Peninsula Player of the Year in 2018 and led the school to a Great Northern Conference Championship in 2016 ... Was a four-year varsity starter in basketball ... Earned West-Pac All-Conference honors in basketball as a senior and was a part of three consecutive District Championship teams in basketball at Iron River ... As a member of the track team, was a part of the Upper Peninsula Regional runner-up team in 2016 ... In basketball, recorded 228 blocks and 153 in her career ... In the classroom, was a four-year member of the Academic Honor Roll and was also a member of the National Honor Society. 

PERSONAL: Born Nov. 7 ... Daughter of Tricia and Joseph Serbentas ... Biology major ... Has a sister, Kylee (25) ... Chose Webster because of her ability to play tennis in college and also the Study Abroad program ... Lists the Indianapolis Colts as her favorite team and Serena Williams as her favorite athlete ... Played four varsity sports as a freshmen in high school ... Likes to listen to music, watch movies, play with her dogs, sports and hang out with close friends ... Wants to attend graduate school for Optometry.
