2020 (SENIOR):
Played in and started all 13 games during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season ... One of six Gorloks to play in and start all 13 games ... Recorded a .304 batting average, which was seventh-best on the team ... In 46 at-bats, scored seven runs, had 14 hits, hit one home run and had 3 RBI ... Had one of the team's two home runs on the season ... Also drew eight walks and was hit by a pitch ... Had four multi-hit games, including a three hit outing against Coe (2/23) ... Tallied two of his three RBI against Westfield State (3/9) and in that same game, he also hit his only home run of the year ... His eight walks were tied for second on the team ... Scored at least two runs in four games, including scoring three runs against Westfield State ... Recorded four or more at-bats in a game five times, including a career high tying six at-bats against Concordia-Chicago (3/1) ... Was also 4-for-4 on stolen bases ... Tallied a .370 slugging percentage and a .411 on-base percentage.

2019 (JUNIOR): Played in 48 games and made 47 starts, mostly in left field ... Recorded a .342 batting average, which was second on the team ... In 155 at-bats, scored 40 runs, had 53 hits, hit 11 doubles, two triples and had three home runs, which were second most on the team ... Also went 12-for-16 on stolen bases ... One of four players with double-digit steals ... Was second on the team with 16 multi-hit games, including a team high tying six 3-hit games ... Also tallied five multiple RBI games, including a 5 RBI game against Rhode Island College (3/11) during the trip to Florida and had a 4 RBI game against Spalding (5/12) in the championship game of the SLIAC Tournament ... Recorded two or more runs in nine games, including a career high three runs against Rhode Island College (3/11) ... At the Division III World Series, he hit .500 and had an .875 slugging percentage as he went 4-for-8 at the plate with two runs scored and had one double, one triple and one RBI ... Tied for the team lead in walks with 29 and had 24 strikeouts in 155 at-bats ... Was also hit by 10 pitches, which was fourth most on the team ... Recorded a .497 slugging percentage and a .465 on-base percentage ... In the field, had a .966 fielding percentage ... In SLIAC play, played in and started all 22 games ... Hit .288 with 19 hits, 19 runs scored, five doubles, one home run and 10 RBI in league games ... Was 7-for-9 on stolen bases and drew 13 walks in SLIAC play.

2018 (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE): Played in 10 games on the season ... Had 10 at-bats, recorded five hits and scored two runs ... Finished the season with two doubles, a home run and 6 RBI ... Five of those RBI's came in one game against Principia (4/17) as he hit a 3-run homer and a 2-run double in the game ... The five RBI were tied for 17th-most in a game in school history ...  Also drew two walks and had one strikeout ... In SLIAC play, hit .429 in six games and seven at-bats.

2017 (SOPHOMORE): Saw action in six games and had five at-bats on the season ... Recorded two hits and an RBI, both of which came against Eureka (4/23) ... Hit .400 on the season.

2016 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games and made one start ... Had one at-bat, one RBI and drew four walks on the season before getting injured and missing the rest of the season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered for four years in football, basketball and baseball at DuQouin High School.

PERSONAL: Born Jan. 15 … Son of Mary and Chuck Smith …  Finance major with a minor in Management … Has a sister, Katie (19) ... Chose Webster because it was a high academic school with a lot to offer ... Played summer baseball for the NoCo Roughnecks and was named an MHCBL All-Star selection ... Lists the St. Louis Cardinals as his favorite sports team and Kolton Wong as his favorite athlete.
