2020 (JUNIOR): Did not see any varsity action as a pitcher during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season.

2019 (SOPHOMORE): Made one appearance on the mound out of the bullpen against Iowa Wesleyan (4/13) ... In that appearance, tossed one inning and had one strikeout and walked one ... Threw a total of 17 pitches in that appearance.

2018 (FRESHMAN): Made one appearance on the mound at Iowa Wesleyan (4/29) ... In that appearance, he allowed one hit, while striking out two and walking one. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball at Ottawa High School ... Also played baseball at Marquette High School in 2013-14 ... Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors as a senior at Ottawa High School and was a Third-Team All-Conference selection as a junior ... Threw a no-hitter as a senior ... Played basketball and football at Ottawa ... In the classroom, was a two-time Academic All-Conference selection ... Played club baseball for the Chicago Clout and the Fulton Railroaders.

PERSONAL: Born June 28 ... Son of Andrea and Derek Kowalski ... Sports Communications major with a minor in Sports Management ... Has two brothers, Elliott (25) and Josh (22) ... Chose Webster for the chance to play baseball ... Served as an intern in the Webster Sports Information Office during the 2020 fall semester ... Lists the Boston Red Sox as his favorite sports team and names Jason Varitek as his favorite athlete ... Likes to fish, play golf and video games ... Was a member of the Dean's List the past three years at Webster ... In the summer of 2020, played for the Normal Cornbelters in the CarShield Collegiate League ... Was named a First-Team CCL All-League selection after posting a 2-1 record and had one save and a 3.03 ERA in 11 appearances and five starts ... Was fourth in the league in WHIP (1.39) and ERA (3.03) and fifth in strikeouts with 28 ... Wants to become an athletic director in the future.
