Matt Enderle enters his second year on the Gorlok staff and continues to work as the Pitching Coach. Matt comes to Webster after a three season stint (2009-11) with Rockford College as Graduate Assistant and Pitching Coach.
Prior to that, Matt was a volunteer coach with St. Joseph’s College in 2008, while finishing up his undergraduate degree. A left-handed pitcher, Matt played at Illinois Valley Community College in 2004, Highland Community College in 2005, and St. Joseph’s College in 2006-07. After finishing college, Matt played two years of professional baseball for the Rockford Riverhawks, in the Frontier League. In those two seasons, Matt was 5-4 in 110 innings pitched, with a 4.09 ERA, mostly in relief.
Coach Enderle was recently the head coach of the Fulton Railroaders, in Fulton, KY, of the Ohio Valley Summer Collegiate League. The Railroaders finished second in the regular season with a 23-19 record. The Railroaders won their league playoffs and took the post season title.
“Coach Enderle brings a vast knowledge of pitching and professional experience to our pitching staff. Matt has worked under two of the most respected pitching coaches in the area, Rick O’Dette and Bob Koopmann. I look forward to having Matt continuing to work with our pitching staff” says Kurich.
