2020 (SENIOR): Played in and started all 13 games at first base for the Gorloks during the COVID-19 shortened 2020 season ... Hit .208 on the season as he led the team in at-bats with 53 and he recorded 11 hits, scored seven runs and hit two doubles with 7 RBI ... The 7 RBI were tied for fourth on the team ... Had two multi-hit games and one multiple RBI game and that multiple RBI game was 3 against Wisconsin-La Crosse (3/14) ... Tallied four or more at-bats in 10 games, including a season high six at-bats against Concordia-Chicago (3/10) ... Posted a .245 slugging percentage and a .271 on-base percentage ... 2019 (JUNIOR): Played in and started 49 games at first base for the Gorloks ... Hit .295 on the season as he had 183 at-bats and recorded 54 hits and scored 36 runs ... The 54 hits were second most on the team, while the 36 runs scored were third most on the team ... Also posted a .443 slugging percentage and a .370 on-base percentage ... Had six doubles and tied for the team lead in home runs with seven ... Recorded 41 RBI, which were second on the team ... Drew 23 walks and had 15 strikeouts ... Went 9-for-13 on stolen bases ... Was tied for second on the team in multi-hit games with 16, including one of the team's six four-hit games on the year ... Also posted 12 multiple RBI games and had an 11 game hit streak during the season, which was tied for the longest of the season by a Gorlok player ... At Webster's Chicago Super Regional finale against Concordia-Chicago (5/25), Kent went 4-for-6 at the plate with four runs scored, a home run, 4 RBI and was 2-for-2 on stolen bases ... Had two hits, scored a run and had an RBI in Webster's two games at the NCAA Division III World Series ... Hit .354 in 22 SLIAC games ... 2018 (SOPHOMORE): Played in and started all 48 games at first base for the Gorloks ... Recorded a school record 83 hits and hit a team-best .428 and also had a .608 slugging percentage and a .451 on-base percentage ... Led team in at-bats (194), hits (83), home runs (6), RBI (46) and was second in doubles (17) and runs scored (44) ... Posted a team leading 28 multi-hit games, including tying a school record with a five hit game at Iowa Wesleyan (4/29) ... Had nine multiple RBI games, including being one of eight Gorloks to record a 4 RBI game on the season ... During the season, had a season-best nine game hit and also had a 23 game reached base streak ... Tallied at least one hit in 40 of WU's 48 games ... Struck just 15 times in 194 at-bats and also drew eight walks ... Went 9-for-12 on stolen bases and was one of eight Gorloks to record nine or more stolen bases ... In WU's four NCAA Central Regional Tournament games, hit .353 with six hits and 3 RBI ... Hit .451 in 22 SLIAC games ... 2017 (FRESHMAN): Played in 26 games and made seven starts ... Recorded a .270 batting average as he had 37 at-bats on the season ... Scored three runs and had one double and 2 RBI ... Drew two walks and struck out three times ... Made his collegiate debut as a defensive replacement at first base in the season opener against Rhodes (2/24) ... Recorded his first career hit against Mary Hardin-Baylor (2/25) and had his first career extra base hit, a double, against Blackburn (4/25) ... In SLIAC play, saw action in 13 games and made two starts and recorded a .263 batting average with five hits and two runs scored in 19 at-bats. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in baseball for five years for Coach Bart Williams at Pottsboro (Texas) High School ... Earned Third-Team All-State honors as a senior and was a First-Team All-State selection as a junior ... Was a two-time selection to the Texomaland Baseball Team ... Named the District Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore ... Also lettered for four years in basketball and three years in football at Pottsboro ... Named a Second-Team All-District selection in baskeball as a senior ... In the classroom, was a member of the National Honor Society as a junior ... Played club baseball for the North Texas Longhorns.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 30 … Son of Mondi and Brandon Kent … Earned his Bachelor degree in Business Management from Webster in May 2020 and is currently pursuing an MBA at Webster ... Has two brothers, Hayden (19) and Barrett (15) ... Chose Webster because of the baseball program ... His brother, Hayden, was a freshman on the 2020 Gorlok baseball team ... Named to the Dean's List in the Fall of 2016 and Fall of 2017 at Webster ... Member of Webster's SAAC and also the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) ... Lists the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers as his favorite sports teams ... Names Luka Doncic and Michael Young as his favorite athletes ... Likes to hunt, fish and play golf ... Played for the Hornell (N.Y.) Dodgers of the NYCBL in the summer of 2018 and was named to the NYCBL All-League Team and was named the Offensive MVP of the league's All-Star Game ... Selected to the All-Star Game in the Prospect League in the summer of 2019 ... Wants to return to Texas and start his career.
