Ignacio "Nacho" Novas enters his third season as an Assistant Men's Soccer Coach for the 2025 season.

"Nacho is great addition to help our team grow on and off the field," said Curic. "He's been a part of the St Louis soccer community for over two decades and we are glad to have him on our team. Nacho brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for the game to our program."

Nacho comes to Webster University with vast coaching experience. He has previously coached at St. Patrick's High School (Uruguay), Christian Brothers College High School (Mo.), Ursuline Academy (Mo.), Webster Groves High School (Mo.), and Lindenwood University (Mo.). In addition, he has served as the JB Marine Boy's Director, the Head Coach of the Olympic Development Program, and as the Co-President of CarShield Futbol Club.

The Uruguay native played four years of college soccer at Lindenwood University. As a player, Nacho was a three-time all-conference honoree, a two-time all-region selection, and a four-time all-american including two times being named to the first team. He helped guide his team to the 2004 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship and was named the 2004 NAIA Men's Soccer National Player of the Year. For his efforts on the field, he was inducted into the Lindenwood University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2013.
