2019-20 Iron 'Lok Award (Strength & Conditioning)

2020 (SENIOR): Appeared in all 14 games and made 12 starts, with 11 of those starts coming at third base ... Led team in batting average (.438) and home runs (2) and was second in hits with 14 and third in RBI (8) and runs (9) ... Along with hitting .438, she had 32 at-bats, hit four doubles and was 2-for-2 in stolen bases ... Had four multi-hit games, including a career-high tying three hits against UMass-Dartmouth (3/11) during Webster's Florida Spring Break trip ... Also had three 2-hit games on season ... Scored two runs in two games and had three or more at-bats in a game five times, including a career-high five at-bats against Eastern (Pa.) (3/6) ... Those five at-bats are tied for ninth in single game in school history ... Tied a career high with two doubles against UMass-Dartmouth ... Her home runs came against Centre (2/22) and at Maryville (2/23) ... Walked four times and struck out just seven times in her 32 at-bats ... Tallied a team best slugging percentage (.750) and on-base percentage (.514). 

2019 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 12 games and made 12 starts at first base before suffering a season ending injury ... In her 12 games, had 31 at-bats and hit .290 on the year with nine hits, six runs, 4 RBI and hit four doubles ... The four doubles were tied fourth most on the team ... Had two multi-hit games, including a three hit game against Knox (3/24) ... Along with the three hits against Knox (3/24), she also scored a season high two runs and had 2 RBI and hit two doubles ... In addition, she also had two stolen bases against Knox (3/24) ... Drew two walks and had seven strikeouts ... Also posted a .324 on-base percentage and a .419 slugging percentage ... Recorded her first hit as a Gorlok at Rhodes (2/16) as she was 1-for-2 at the plate and had eight put outs at first base ... Had six or more put outs at first base in six games, including a season high nine put outs against Rhodes (3/8) during Webster's spring break trip in Florida.

PRIOR TO WEBSTER (TRINIDAD STATE COLLEGE): Played two seasons of softball at Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colo., for Coach Stephen Swazo … Earned the school’s George W. Scott Athletic Award in 2018 … As a sophomore, hit .395 with eight home runs … Was a two-time First-Team All-American Academic selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year varsity letterwinner in softball at Higley High School in Gilbert, Ariz., for Coach Patti Smith … Recorded a career batting average of .350 during her high school career ... Played club softball for the 18-&-Under Gold Arizona Bombers ... Was the 2015 home run derby tournament winner with Gold Arizona Bombers.

PERSONAL: Born Apr. 9 … Daughter of Heather and Albert Boccella … Biology major with a minor in Psychology … Has two sisters, Bailey (20) and Carmela (12) … Chose Webster because of its location and the chance to get a great education ... Her sister Bailey plays volleyball at University of Saint Catherine and her cousin, Danny Karrash is a kicker for the University of Pennsylvania football team … Is a member of the WATTS Committee at Webster and is also a Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society member … Earned a WATTS Scholarship at Webster … Lists the Philadlephia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies as her favorite sports teams ... Names Bryce Harper, Sierra Romero and Lauren Chamberlin as her favorite athletes ... Likes music, being outside and going to the gym ... Plans to attend nursing school and start a family after graduation.
