2018 (JUNIOR): Appeared in and started all 35 games at third base … Hit .291 on the season … Recorded 30 hits in 103 at-bats, scored 17 runs and hit six doubles, which was tied for fourth on the team … Had 13 RBI and hit her only home run against Arcadia (3/11) during the team’s spring break trip to Florida … Finished season with nine multi-hit games and was one of five players to record at least two 3-hit games … Drew 13 walks and struck out 10 times … Recorded three hit games against both Eastern Connecticut State (3/11) and Principia (4/9) … The two hits against Eastern Connecticut were both doubles, which is tied for sixth most in a single game in school history ... Earned SLIAC Hitter of the Week honors on March 12 following her play during the Florida trip as she
hit .474 with a home run and five RBI ... Scored two or more runs in a game three times, including a season-best three runs at Iowa Wesleyan (4/30) … Recorded a .379 slugging percentage and a .381 on-base percentage … Posted a .967 fielding percentage as she had just four errors in 121 fielding chances … Hit .294 in 18 SLIAC games and had 15 hits, scored 11 runs, hit doubles and had 6 RBI.
PRIOR TO WEBSTER (College of the Redwoods): Played softball for two seasons (2015-17) at the College of the Redwood in Eureka, Calif., for Coach Maggie White … Earned Second-Team All-Conference honors as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered for four years in softball at Crater High School in Central Point, Ore., for Coach Chris Arnold … As a senior, was named a Second-Team All-Conference selection.
PERSONAL: Born June 10 … Daughter of Lyn Sheperd and Tawnya Mingus … Criminology major … Has four sisters, Desi Hatfield, Alex, Riley and Abby and a brother, Caleb Sheperd … Likes to travel to hang out with friends and family … Is married.
