While playing at Southern Illinois University–Carbondale, Harre was a four-time First Team All-Missouri Valley Conference selection and was named to four All-Great Lakes Regional teams in as many years. She was the 2005 MVC Pitcher of the Year while garnering conference Pitcher of the Week honors 13 times in her career. She ended her collegiate career with 704 strikeouts, a 1.06 ERA and a .700 winning percentage. Her final record was 84-36. Harre graduated with a degree in physiology and was a four-time Academic All-American.
Harre was selected as the number one overall pick by the Chicago Bandits in the 2005 NPF Senior Draft. An All-NPF team selection in 2006, Harre led all pitchers with a 10-2 record and a 1.41 ERA. The right-handed hurler notched three saves and 61 strikeouts in 114.1 innings pitched. This season, Harre pitched for the Philadelphia Force.
