Chris Eaton

Chris Eaton enters his 11th season as head softball coach for Webster in 2019 and has compiled a 199-178 overall record and a 110-57 mark in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) play. 
 
In Eaton’s tenure at Webster, the Gorloks have won two SLIAC Championships, a SLIAC Tournament title, and earned a berth in the 2009 NCAA Division III Softball  Tournament. In their 2009 NCAA appearance, the Gorloks advanced to the NCAA Central Region Championship game and finished as regional runners-up.

While with Webster, Eaton has coached 58 SLIAC All-Conference Players 47 Academic All-Conference players and an NFCA All-Region Player.

The Gorloks have also garnered SLIAC Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Pitcher of the Year awards during his tenure, as well. Eaton himself earned SLIAC Coach of the Year honors in 2010.

Prior to Webster, Eaton spent four seasons as the head softball coach at East Central College in Union, Mo.  While at East Central College, he was named the NJCAA Region XVI Coach of the Year in 2007, as the Rebels won the Regional NJCAA Championship.

Eaton graduated from the University of Missouri -St. Louis with a Bachelor degree in both Business Administration (1998) and Business Education (2002).
