2020 (SENIOR): Made one appearance on the mound and played in five games and made two starts as a hitter during the COVID-19 shortened season ... On the mound, made his only appearance against Wisconsin-La Crosse (3/14) as he pitched 3.0 innings and allowed seven hits and two runs, while striking out two and walking none ... He earned the win in relief against UW-La Crosse ... As a hitter, he had 12 at-bats and recorded two hits and scored three runs ... Picked up his first career win in relief against Ohio Northern (3/10) as he pitched 2.1 innings and allowed two hits and no runs ... Made his Webster debut against Transylvania (2/25) and in that appearance, tossed one inning and allowed one hit and had a strikeout ... Tossed a total of 11.1 innings and had three appearances with at least two innings pitched ... Threw a season high 2.2 innings in relief against Wisconsin-La Crosse (3/16) ... In 11.1 innings, allowed 16 hits, six runs, all of which were earned, while walking five and fanning nine ... Recorded two or more strikeouts in a game three times ... Community College for Coach Bill Angelo … Served as the team captain as a sophomore in 2018 … In his two seasons as a pitcher at Elgin, Davis made 21 appearances and 17 starts and compiled a 7-7 overall record … Tossed two complete games, which came as a freshman in 2017 … In 96 career innings, recorded 57 strikeouts and walked 33 and posted a 4.97 ERA … Averaged 5.34 strikeouts per nine inning in his two years at ECC … As a sophomore in 2018, went 3-3 in seven starts and 10 appearances … Tossed 38.1 innings and struck out 30 and walked 15 … Went 4-4 with a 4.21 ERA in 2017 … Threw 57.2 innings on the season and recorded 30 strikeouts and 18 walks.
