What is one thing that can instantly make your day?: Panda Express orange chicken.
As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up?: I just wanted to be a hockey wife.
What is your motto in life?: "It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you."
Who changed the game of soccer for you? How?: It's a three-way tie between Megan Rapinoe, Brandi Chastain and Abby Wambach. They taught me how to appreciate the beautiful game while sitting on the sidelines after my ACL tear and gave me the perseverance to return a better player, better teammate and better person.
Who is your biggest fan?: My mom is my biggest fan, even if she doesn't seem to know what's going on half the time.
What does success mean to you?: Success is achieving the unimaginable. It is a process, day in and day out, pursuing greatness. Focusing on something bigger than yourself.
What do you do as an individual to overcome adversity?: Push the limits and keep my eyes on the prize.
