2019 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 21 matches, made 16 starts and totaled 1,306 minutes ... One of 10 Gorloks to play over 1,000 minutes and one of eight Gorloks to play in all 21 matches ... Scored 18 goals and added one assist for a total of 37 points ... Her 18 goals were most on the team and tied for 11th on the school's single season list ... The 37 points were tied for second most on the team ... Tallied two or more goals in six matches, including a hat-trick against Illinois College (9/17) and a four goal match at Eureka (10/5), which is tied for the fourth-most goals in a match in school history ... The 18 goals were the most scored by a Gorlok since Hall of Famer Christy Capkovic scored 18 goals in 2010 ... Recorded two or more points in nine matches, including a career high eight points at Eureka (10/5) ... Those eight points are tied for 10th on the school's single match list ... Took 61 shots and put 32 of those shots on goal ... The 61 shots were third most on the team and she took five or more shots in four games, including a career high eight shots against Illinois College (9/17) ... Scored one game winning goal at Blackburn (10/23) ... Played 50 or more minutes in 15 matches, including a season high 110 minutes against Westminster (10/16) ... Saw action and started in all nine SLIAC matches ... Recorded 11 goals and 22 points in league play and also took 35 shots and 16 shots on goal ... Along with playing soccer, she also ran indoor track for the Gorloks as the outdoor season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic ... In track, was a member of Webster's 4-x-400 meter indoor relay team that won the league title at the inaugural SLIAC Indoor Track Championships (2/29) and earned All-SLIAC honors in both the 400-meter dash and the 4-x-400 meter relay.
2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in 19 of Webster's 20 matches and totaled 752 minutes ... Scored six goals and added three assists for a total of 15 points ... The six goals were tied for sixth-most on the team ... Was one of nine players on the team to record double-digit points ... Took 35 shots and had 13 of those shots on goal ... Her 35 shots were seventh most on the team ... Recorded a two goal game at Eureka (10/20) and in that same match, recorded a season-high four points ... Tallied a season-high six shots against Blackburn (10/9) and had six matches with three or more shots ... Posted her first career assist at Illinois College (9/19) ... Played 40 or more minutes in nine matches, including a season high 57 minutes against Blackburn (10/9) ... Saw action in all nine of Webster's SLIAC matches and totaled 376 minutes ... Had five goals and two assists for a total of 12 points in SLIAC play and also took 22 or her 35 shots in league action ... Along with playing soccer, ran track for the Gorloks ... In track, she was a member of Webster's 4-x-400 meter relay team that captured first place at the SLIAC Outdoor Track Championships (4/28) ... Additionally, she placed third overall at the SLIAC Championships in the 400-meter dash to earn All-SLIAC honors.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played four years of soccer for Coach Kristen Campbell at Sachse High School … Three-time First-Team All-District selection in soccer as a sophomore, junior and senior … Was a part of three undefeated district teams and four district championship teams … Helped the team reach the Regional finals as junior and the Area Finals as a senior … Named the Sachse High School Female Athlete of the Year as both a freshman and senior … Was a 5-sport athlete as along with playing soccer, she also lettered for four years in cross country, four years in track, three years in basketball and also lettered as a freshman in volleyball … In cross county, was named the Newcomer of the Year as a freshman and the team’s MVP as both a sophomore and junior … In the classroom, named a four-time First-Team All-Academic selection … Carried a 4.1 grade point average and finished in the top four percent of her graduating class … Played club soccer for Junventus (2005-09), Gunners (2010-11), Dallas Texans (2012-14) and Sting Garrett (2015-17).
PERSONAL: Born Oct. 22 ... Daughter of Diane and Chuck Lande … Biological Sciences major … has two brothers, Paul Avila (37) and Jeremy Lande (18) and an older sister, Kristina Avila (36) … Chose Webster because of the opportunity to compete in both soccer and track ... Her father, Chuck Lande, is a former professional bowler who joined the Professional Bowlers Association in 1986 and won five PBA regional titles from 1987-91 … Lists the Dallas Cowboys as her favorite sports team ... Names Michael Jordan as her favorite athlete ... Likes to draw, bake and paint ... Wants to be a professional soccer player after graduation.
